Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Regional Bus Company seeks an Associate Staff Analyst ($67,314-$87,159) or Staff Analyst ($59,549-$66,322) in the Buses Strategy Office.
The MTA is the nation’s largest public transportation system, managing transit, buses, subways, trains, bridges and tunnels in New York City and surrounding areas including Long Island. It serves 8.5 million daily riders.
This position will work with Buses’ Chief Strategy Officer on identifying strategic priorities, evaluating major initiatives, and promoting their successful delivery. The selected candidate will conduct analyses, observe operations, prepare and present recommendations to senior managers, develop implementation plans, and follow projects to completion. The candidate will work on cross-functional teams on a variety of parallel projects, such as, in depth evaluations of operational efficiency, evaluating new technologies, promoting Buses to external stakeholders, aligning major capital procurements with company strategy, and advancing the SVP Buses’ vision of Buses as a Business.
