Message from TRB:
TRB is committed to fostering the professional development of young professionals in transportation. The Young Professional registration category for the Annual Meeting, just $280 before November 30th, is for practicing transportation professionals aged 35 years or younger. Education sessions and networking opportunities at the TRB 92nd Annual Meeting, January 13-17, 2013, in Washington, D.C., provide an ideal way for young transportation professionals to become more involved in TRB and to help further their careers. Registration discounts are also available for full-time students.
You are encouraged to register and make your hotel reservation online now! Registration is required for all Annual Meeting attendees, including those who plan to attend any workshop, visit the Exhibits, receive full access to the Interactive Program, receive the Compendium of Papers flash drive, or utilize the shuttle and Employment Opportunities room onsite.
Annual Meeting registration is required to secure a hotel reservation within the TRB block. At the time of registration, you will have the ability to make your hotel reservations. To help identify the best hotel of you, review the Subject Areas of Interest and Hotel Locations cart included on the Housing page of the Annual Meeting website.
Registering in advance will speed your registration process when you arrive at the meeting and will provide full access to the Interactive Program containing session and individual presentation information. The Interactive Program is available in early November to assist you in deciding which events to attend during the TRB 92nd Annual Meeting. Searches can be conducted by meeting name, session title, paper title, keywords, program presenter, author, and subject area. New this year–only registrants will be given the opportunity to plan their personalized itinerary which includes hotel room name locations.
Advance-registrants—those who register by November 30th—will also receive access to all the papers included in the Annual Meeting Compendium of Papers. Access to the papers will be available through the Annual Meeting Online portal in early January. This benefit is designed to provide attendees with additional information as they develop their Annual Meeting schedules and to facilitate in-depth discussions between attendees and program presenters. Visit the Annual Meeting website for additional information on workshops, special events, and general scheduling information.
Shortly after the conclusion of the meeting, all TRB Annual Meeting registrants will receive complimentary online access to the meeting’s more than 3,100 slide and poster presentations. This collection will be added to the Annual Meeting Online portal. In one search, the TRB Annual Meeting Online service will allow registered attendees to quickly find all available papers and visual aids by session, presentation, author, subject area, and more.
The TRB 92nd Annual Meeting covers all transportation modes, with more than 4,000 presentations in nearly 650 sessions addressing topics of interest to all attendees—policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. The Annual Meeting, which draws attendees from throughout the United States and from 70 countries, is the single largest gathering of transportation practitioners and researchers in the world.
