YPT Boston has a lot going on! In the past few months, we’ve hosted transportation trivia, a few brownbags, and a film screening!
Next up – we are filling your week next week with three great events (then we’ll let you off the hook for the holidays). We encourage all Boston members and friends to join us next week at one or more of these events!
#1 – YPT Boston Annual Meeting
Stay active in YPT Boston! Come to the Annual Meeting to help determine the 2012-13 goals, programming, and more! Help decide what YPT Boston should pursue in 2013. Meet the new Board of Directors and find out how you can get more involved.
When: Tuesday, November 13, 6pm
Where: MAPC, 3rd floor conference room, 60 Temple Place, Boston. Followed by networking at nearby establishment (TBA).

#2 – Brownbag Lunch: Green Line Extension
Come hear from your peers working on the Green Line Extension project at YPT Boston’s next brownbag lunch session! The Green Line Extension is a multi-year, multi-municipality project that will extend service from a relocated Lechmere Station to Union Square in Somerville and College Avenue in Medford. Jay Carroll from HDR and Mike Izzo from Gilbane will give an overview of the project and discuss their management, engineering, and planning roles on the biggest infrastructure project in the Commonwealth since the Big Dig.
Hear their perspectives first-hand with the opportunity to ask those burning Green Line Extension questions that you’ve been wanting to ask!
When: Wednesday, November 14, noon – 1pm
Where: Green Line Extension Office, 155 Federal Street, 3rd floor, Boston
#3 – Networking Event at Dillon’s, Back Bay
YPT Boston’s next networking event is next Thursday, November 15 in Back Bay. Come on down to meet and mingle with fellow young professionals. What better a time to talk transportation? Invite your friends and colleagues, too, all are welcome.
