As Business Development Director – Platform, you will shape the development and drive the growth of our
platform business while acting as a thought leader within the transportation space.
Responsibilities:
• Independently generate and develop high-value leads; drive projects focused on expanding the application of our game-changing technology
• Create, build, and manage relationships with partner agencies & private institutions
• Develop an in-depth understanding of how technology is changing public transportation; help lead
the development of our platform product
• Manage grassroots and large-scale media campaigns to build public support for our solutions
• Serve as a thought leader by writing and speaking about our transformational technology
You:
• Have deep familiarity with and a strong network within the transportation community
• Have extensive experience managing relationships and negotiating with a broad spectrum of transit
stakeholders: the federal government, state governments, municipal governments, large
corporations, academic organizations, advocacy groups, and the general public
• An extraordinary communicator with demonstrated writing, editing, and speaking skills
• A technophile; you’re passionate about technology that can improve transportation in significant,
lasting ways
• 3+ years of senior-level experience at a large public transit agency, ideally at a Director level or
higher
• Have a track record of introducing major technological innovations; you are committed to pushing
big ideas forward and love questioning the conventional wisdom
