Are you a paid YPT member? If so, we have some important housekeeping information for you. Please read on to see the letter YPT National Vice Chair for Membership Aimee Custis sent to all paid YPT members this morning.
***
YPT is currently in the process of transitioning to a new and improved membership management this spring. As part of this upgrade, we will no longer be using PayPal as our online payment gateway for membership dues.
This week, YPT will transition to a new online payment processing system. This means that all YPT members “subscriptions” to YPT membership in the PayPal system will be cancelled.
What does this mean to you?
You may receive an email from PayPal in the coming days stating that your membership has been canceled. Please rest assured that your membership has NOT been cancelled with YPT – only that you will need to re-enter your payment information in our new system when your membership is up for renewal. You’ll receive more information as your renewal date approaches.
We have already transferred all YPT membership records to the new system, which will be a big improvement for YPT in the years to come.
If you have any questions about this process or your membership status please don’t hesitate to email us at membership@yptransportation.org.
Thank you for your patience and continued support of Young Professionals in Transportation! We’re grateful that you’re a member!
We will keep you updated as to the system’s new features as we roll it out nationwide.
Sincerely,
Aimee Custis
