On March 19, approximately 70 YPT members and friends gathered at the Delegation of the European Union in Washington, DC for a lively discussion with Dr. Felix Leinemann on the latest transportation initiatives in the European Union, and transatlantic cooperation in transportation. The discussion focused on the European Union’s transportation policies and initiatives, followed by a discussion of areas where the EU may possibly collaborate with the US, including Intelligent Transportation Systems, high speed rail, urban mobility and climate change, aviation, and maritime.

For those who missed the event, Dr. Leinemann has graciously agreed to share his presentation with us, so if you’re curious about these topics, look at the YPT EU Leadership Seminar presentation! Enjoy, and feel free to continue the discussion in the comments.
