You Can’t Improve What You Don’t Measure

About a week and a half ago you probably received an email from YPT requesting you to take the YPT Communications Survey. While we gave a short explanation of why we are requesting your input (to help us better understand your preferences for information that YPT conveys to you), some of you may be wondering how exactly this will help YPT. Well, we hope that your responses will not only help YPT, but even you, the reader!

The guiding philosophy for the survey is that one cannot improve something that he or she does not measure. We want to know what interests you so that YPT can be continue to be of value to you not only by providing you with networking happy hours, leadership seminars, and field trips, but also by allowing YPT to become an online source of transportation information, discussion, or even networking. However we can’t do that if we don’t know what you’re interested in, nor how much you enjoy the existing content!

Responses have poured in from all over the country, which is fantastic and we thank those who have given their time to help out YPT. If you have not taken the survey yet, there is still time to help out and let your opinion guide YPT’s future communications endeavors! Please take no more than ten minutes to take the survey here by May 15, and you can enter for a chance to win one of three $20 Amazon gift cards as our thank you for your time.
