The Eno Center for Transportation has a couple of upcoming opportunities. Please read on to find out more about the Visiting Fellow program and the Leadership Development Conference Dinner.

 

Visiting Fellow

The Eno Center for Transportation is accepting applications for a 6-month Visiting Fellow. The Fellow will be involved with Eno’s transportation policy and research department. The work will involve:

  • Conducting research on Eno transportation policy projects
  • Assisting on writing Eno policy papers and reports
  • Collaborating with transportation experts on publications
  • Engaging the transportation community in Washington, DC

Required Skills

Applicants must have a strong understanding of transportation policy and economics. Applicants should have experience with conducting research. Strong writing skills are also required.

Duration

Duration of the appointment is 6 months. Start and end dates can be flexible, however priority will be given to applicants who can begin immediately.

Who should apply

Fellowships are awarded to professionals with a strong understanding of transportation policy. Recently graduated students are encouraged to apply. Master’s degree in transportation or transportation-related subject is preferable.

Stipend

The fellow will receive a monthly stipend.

Leadership Development Conference Dinner 

The Eno Center for Transportation will hold its annual Leadership Development Conference dinner on Thursday, June 6, in Washington, DC. This year we will honor David Goode, former President, Chairman and CEO of Norfolk Southern with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Eno will also recognize John Horsley, former Executive Director of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), and Jack Basso, AASHTO’s former Chief Operating Officer, as the first recipients of the Wilbur S. Smith Award for Service to Eno. Tickets sell for $350 each, but members of YPT can receive a discounted dinner ticket for $100.
