Attend the premier Rail~Volution conference in Seattle Oct. 20-23, 2013 – scholarships available – due Sept. 6

Rail~Volution, one of the most anticipated conferences of the year for people passionate about public transportation and smart growth, will be held in Seattle on October 20-23, 2013.

Every year, Rail~Volution attracts thousands of the nation’s top transit experts, along with advocates, community activists, planners, and government officials.

Rail~Volution includes sessions, lectures, and presentations, as well as a multitude of workshops, networking events, charrettes, and toolbox sessions for experts and newbies alike. Attendees will have ample opportunities to network with transit and smart growth experts from around the country and across the world, and come away with fresh ideas for their own community.

If you are interested in attending Rail~Volution but can’t afford the trip to Seattle, the DC Rail~Volution Committee has a limited number of scholarships available. Scholarship funds can cover travel and lodging costs, as well as the $425 early registration fee, which is available if you register by Friday, September 27, 2013. To be eligible to apply for the scholarship, you must be a DC-area smart growth activist, government agency staff, or public official.
