DC Event Alert: USDOT Workshop on Analysis of Network and Non-Network Impacts upon Traveler Choice

 

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is hosting a workshop on integrating traveler choice into transportation models and forecasts. This workshop provides an opportunity for stakeholders to provide input and perspectives that are necessary for advancing the state of the practice in traveler choice research.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EDT at FHWA Turner Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC) located at 6300 Georgetown Pike, McLean, VA 22101.

The full-day workshop will help FHWA identify research gaps and needs in traveler choice data modeling in an effort to encourage practicitioners to develop and use national and regional traveler choice data and adjustment factors to improve their models and forecasts.
