The Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments (MWCOG) is seeking a transportation engineer in its models development unit to support the development and maintenance of the regional travel demand model.  The opening may be filled by either a Transportation Engineer 1 (grade 6) or Transportation Engineer 2 (grade 7).  The starting salaries are as follows:

  • Transportation Engineer 1 (Grade 6):  $50,054 to $58,000, depending on qualifications
  • Transportation Engineer 2 (Grade 7):  $55,021 to $58,000, depending on qualifications
