The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) is pleased to invite you to the April 8, 2014 Transportation Tuesday program, featuring Thomas Littleton Associate Administrator for Safety and Oversight for the Federal Transit Administration. Associate Administrator Littleton will speak on the topic Partnering for Safety: The Development of FTA’s New Safety Office and Safety Role. He will talk about thechallenges of establishing this new program, the challenges of MAP-21 implementation, and the importance of the partnership between FTA and the public transportation industry to achieve the best outcome.
The program will begin with a wine and cheese reception at 5 p.m., with the presentation and discussion to occur from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
