Financial Analyst – Office of Credit Oversight and Risk Management, U.S. Department of Transportation
The Office of Credit Oversight and Risk Management within the Office of the Secretary is looking for motivated, self-sufficient individuals to provide oversight of the Department’s $17 billion credit portfolio, including TIFIA, RRIF, and MARAD’s Title Xi. An ideal candidate will have seasoned experience evaluating financial plans, analyzing financial structures, and have outstanding communication skills.
Under the general direction and supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, you will conduct extensive financial analysis including but not limited to, evaluating proposed credit structures, calculating debt service coverage ratios, developing alternative debt repayment structures, reviewing feasibility studies, and conducting computer analysis and modeling support. The Financial Analyst is expected to have knowledge of the current market for public and private infrastructure financings in the U.S. and/or abroad.
