Oakland Job Alert: Clipper Program Coordinator – MTC

CLIPPER PROGRAM COORDINATOR; IMPLEMENTATION & EXPANSION:

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) is seeking an Assistant/Associate Clipper Program Coordinator. The person in this position will be working closely with members of MTC’s Clipper® project management team, transit agency staff, staff with the Clipper® Contractor and other consultants. The person in this position will be responsible for supporting expansion of Clipper, enhancements to the Clipper System, monitoring and operation of the system and troubleshooting of problems, including assessment of contractor’s performance.

Requirements to be considered for this position are:

Education: Completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, in a discipline such as: urban planning, transportation planning, public administration or a related discipline. However, a Master’s degree is preferred. (Applicants with a degree issued from an institution outside the United States must have their transcripts evaluated by an academic accrediting service and provide proof of equivalency attached to the application.)

Experience: A minimum of one year of increasingly responsible experience in an appropriate field related to the area of assignment, such as transportation planning, project management, financial management, business administration, public finance, budgeting, grants management, or a related field. Two years of graduate work in a discipline directly related to the position may be substituted for the required experience. Additional professional work experience is preferred.
