YPT Sacramento

New YPT Chapter in Sacramento, CA

YPT is happy to announce the official creation of YPT Sacramento!

As the capital of California, Sacramento is at the center of emerging transportation planning, design, and policy issues. Sacramento sits at the junction of five major regional and interstate corridors, has a deep water shipping channel and is home to the second busiest Amtrak station in California. The region, located centrally between the Pacific coast and Sierra Nevada range, is a major transportation hub for the movement of goods and services by air, road and rail through the country.

The greater region includes the bike capital of the United States, Davis, and hosts multiple colleges and universities.  Downtown and Midtown Sacramento are also going through an era of urban revitalization and are home to a growing community of vibrant young professionals.

YPT Sacramento is seeking chapter members and leaders. For additional information with how to join, contact them by emailing yptsacramento@gmail.com.
