SENIOR TRANSIT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT (TOD) ANALYST, Job #1195

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Under general direction, this position is responsible for project management of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) program projects with a focus on real estate development planning and implementation; maintains continuous evaluation of internal TOD practices to ensure consistency with agency best practices and integration of the TOD policy into the Agency’s project development timeline and surplus disposition practices; conducts and reviews market assessments for various properties within the TOD portfolio and as a part of property acquisition planning as needed; Assists in negotiating real estate development deals; participates in regional outreach and TOD educational efforts to raise the awareness of TOD in the region; supports transit corridor studies through leadership of station area planning and corridor land use planning efforts focusing on strategic real estate development opportunities; Assists in executing and monitoring developer work progress consistent with Agency developer agreements.

Under general direction, this position is responsible for project management of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) program projects with a focus on early TOD project planning; maintains continuous evaluation of internal TOD practices to ensure consistency with agency best practices and integration of the TOD policy into the Agency’s project development timeline; participates in regional outreach and TOD educational efforts to raise the awareness of TOD in the region; supports transit corridor studies through leadership of station area planning and corridor land use planning efforts; and supports the TOD Manager in executing and monitoring developer work progress consistent with Agency developer agreements.
