Infrastructure Week is May 11-15. The plans are underway to deliver a powerful focused message to Congress and the American people. New events and Affiliates are being added to the calendar every day, and local groups, mayors, and stakeholders around America are signing on to make their voice heard. View the current calendar at www.infrastructureweek.org.
Infrastructure Advocacy Day – May 13th, 2015 – is the focal point of the efforts to speak directly to Members of Congress with a message that long-term investment in Infrastructure is an urgent priority with profound implications – and opportunities – for our nation’s workers, businesses, and global competitiveness. They will bring a diverse coalition of influencers – including mayors, business owners and workers from around the country, manufacturing executives, and the state legislators to meet with Members in and beyond their districts to articulate the Week’s – and your own priorities.
For this effort to be a success, we need your participation! PLEASE REGISTER TO JOIN ON CAPITOL HILL ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 13 TO MEET WITH MEMBERS OF CONGRESS AND TELL YOUR STORY OF WHY URGENT INVESTMENT IN INFRASTRUCTURE IS A PRIORITY FOR YOU AND YOUR CONSTITUENTS.
REGISTER TODAY (and see theFAQ) AT www.infrastructureweek.org/advocacy
Participants are not asked to lobby for or against specific policy priorities or legislation, but all participants are welcome to address whatever infrastructure agenda is of relevance to them and their organization. We encourage Affiliates to send staff and/or representatives to participate in this effort. K&L Gates will provide all meeting scheduling and will provide topline messaging and data points to all participants. Participants are welcome to bring their own materials and talking points as well.
