TransitCenter, a civic philanthropy dedicated to improving urban transportation currently, is accepting proposals.
Proposed projects may consist of demonstration projects, training, applied research, public advocacy and education, conferences/symposium/events or other activities, so long as they benefit the public and support their mission. The deadline for submitting letters of interest is June 1, and they are seeking grants in three broad program areas: Leadership and governance, rider-focused technology, and demand and public opinion. For the current grant cycle, TransitCenter plans to award grants of $50,000-$150,000. YPT members are eligible to apply.
