SF Bay Job Alert: FSP Program Technician with MTC

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) in San Francisco, CA is currently seeking a Freeway Service Patrol (FSP) Program Technician to act as support staff for the management and operation of the Service Authority for Freeways and Expressways (SAFE) program; which includes the Call Box and FSP programs. The SAFE program includes the operation of over 2,100 call boxes and 77 roving tow trucks on the Bay Area’s more than 20 highways with a total budget of approximately $15 million annually.

The individual in this position will analyze complex data and develop solutions; be able to prioritize and undertake multiple tasks; communicate effectively, both orally and in writing and effectively work in a team environment; manage equipment and supply distribution and manage invoices. Preference will be given to those that understand fleet management software.

Must have at least six months of recent experience, in a field related to the position. (One year of graduate work in a discipline directly related to the position may be substituted for job experience.)
