Description

Under supervision the person in this position will support the asset management program, as well as the project-related database integration and analysis efforts. The primary focus of the position will be on supporting the: Data integration, enhancement and maintenance to the existing Regional Transit Capital Inventory, (a comprehensive regional database of the transit assets that are owned by transit agencies in the San Francisco Bay Area), Implement the regional transit asset management systems in response to federal authorization, coordinate asset management activities with the transit operators, and perform other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Individual must have a bachelor’s degree, and a minimum of one-year of recent (must be within the last three years), progressive and verifiable professional experience in transit, transportation planning, or information science. A Master’s degree and one year of graduate work in a discipline directly related to the position may be substituted for the required education & experience. Additional professional work experience is preferred.
