  • Capable of performing electrical calculations such as voltage drop, wire sizing, etc. 
  • Preparation of meter cabinet schematics 
  • Assist in the preparation of Intelligent Transportation Systems , Highway Lighting design plans, cost estimates and specifications

The Marketing Coordinator works with marketing leadership and subject matter experts to execute successful proposal, pursuit and marketing activities for projects in the Southeast United States, nationally, and globally. 
 
Job Summary, Duties and Responsibilities 
Under limited supervision performs duties to assist the marketing efforts of the region/district including proposal and qualifications preparation and presentations.  Coordinates marketing efforts of outside vendors and subcontractors. Assists with managing marketing systems and budgets, maintaining all marketing collateral and supports communications initiatives.
 
  • Leads standard proposals with limited supervision and supports complex proposals with general supervision
  • Researches, gathers and edits proposal materials, including writing, verifying, and formatting proposal information. Ensures the various aspects of proposals and other marketing materials are compliant, accurate and delivered in a timely manner
  • Works with individual pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing business intelligence on clients, competitors and WSP
  • Organizes and may facilitate proposal strategy meetings
  • Collaborates with technical staff and reviews/edits content for clarity, compliance and key messages
  • Collaborates with graphic design staff to plan and produce materials ensuring all proposal materials are effectively communicating the strategic vision identified for a given pursuit
  • Supports technical staff in presentation phase of pursuit, coordinates graphics and helps refine key messages  
  • May support client engagement teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings and may participate in client engagement team meetings
  • May coordinate district communications activities, including creating press releases and announcements, writing articles for newsletters, and coordinating project awards and other special communications-related projects
  • May provide oversight of marketing coordinators (I and II)

Required qualifications include:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years minimum experience
  • Minimum of 3 years” experience in editing, proofing and general marketing skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
 
*  Perform GIS analysis of spatial data, trend/gap analysis, business/network analysis, 2d/3d data processing and analysis, enterprise geodatabase design, implementation and operations
*  Perform full stack custom GIS development utilizing software development methodologies in a team-based environment and applying knowledge of FME, Python development, JavaScript, Java, Ruby/Rails development frameworks and IDE (Eclipse)

Knowledge Sharing, Innovation and Technology: Serves as the Consultant/Structural engineer in the area of Power Generation (hydropower and water retaining structures, offshore wind structures, traditional thermal generation, solar). In this role, functions as a Consultant/Structural engineer, who can:
  • Produce structural calculations, design drawings and documents, project standards and specification.
  • Design elements for new construction and modifications to existing structures. 
  • Perform field inspections with senior engineers, including routine dam safety inspections, construction quality assurance and construction progress documentation.
