Lyft Bikes & Scooters is the operator of 10 major bikeshare programs including CitiBike in NYC and Divvy in Chicago, as well as 6 major scooter-share programs, all across the United States. We’re looking for an Asset Security Specialist on our Central Operations team who wants to protect the micro-mobility revolution by managing the risk of theft and loss across our local markets and products. 

We’re looking for an analytically-driven operator to contribute to asset security related applications. This person is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and operationally-savvy. This individual is experienced in synthesizing analytical findings with anecdotal reports to formulate, recommend, and implement action plans. The individual will work closely with operations teams as the primary point of contact for all novel vectors of loss. This person will also work closely with Product Managers, Data Scientists and Engineers in the prioritization and implementation phases of risk mitigation. 


  • Manage the day-to-day implementation of loss prevention strategies across 6 product lines and 14+ cities
  • Collect and investigate reports of novel theft and loss vectors, and turn them into workable problem sets for solution architecting 
  • Evaluate loss prevention strategies during pilot periods to measure effectiveness 
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Data Science, and Engineering to resolve user identity issues and other escalations
  • Deliver enhancements to Lyft theft and loss detection and mitigation systems, and communicate and prioritize product development in collaboration with product management and engineering
  • Report overall status, primary business metrics, key issues, and solution recommendations and plans to management and cross-functional partners
  • Up to 25% travel to our local markets to collaborate, train, and conduct investigations


  • 2-3+ years of experience across micro-mobility, logistics, e-commerce, operations, consulting or loss prevention industries. Fraud or intelligence experience is preferred
  • Experience with Excel or Google Sheets required. Proficiency with SQL is strongly preferred

Lyft is looking for a permanent full-time technical communications professional to join the Lyft Transit, Bikes & Scooters team. You will work the Lyft Bikes & Scooters markets to steward operational communications excellence in the maintenance and operations of rideables and system equipment across our systems.

You will produce high-quality documentation for procedures, processes and product materials to help contribute effectively to the design and deployment of high-tech bike share and scooter share systems. You will be a contributing member of our technical communications team who collaborates daily with operational teams, product teams, developers, engineers, managers and other adjunct teams.

  • Comfortable with publishing content using DITA-XML framework (or other structured authoring principles), and using associated XML authoring tools (Oxygen XML, DITA CCMS, etc)

Lyft’s Safety Insights & Analytics team is responsible for enabling the end-to-end reporting of safety incidents that happen on Lyft’s platform. In addition to monitoring the accuracy and effectiveness of Lyft’s Support team’s ability to handle safety incidents, the Safety I&A team also oversees the classification systems used to categorize safety incidents, monitors and enables secondary review of safety issues, and oversees Lyft’s ongoing efforts to refine, improve, and consolidate the data Lyft uses to enable downstream and public safety reporting.

As an analyst on the Safety I&A team, you will partner with stakeholders across Safety Support, Product, Compliance, and Risk. You will leverage your data analysis, visualization, system design, and communication skills to deliver targeted reporting, actionable insights, and system improvements to stakeholders who rely on safety data. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker and problem solver who can build strong relationships with different teams, and who is relentlessly focused on improving the systems and reporting that help Lyft improve safety on its platform.

As an Industrial Designer, you are expected to have a deep knowledge of the entire industrial design process from conceptualization, to design strategy, to project management, and manufacturing support. You will be an expert contributor, innovating and pushing the Industrial Design, Brand, and Product vision beyond the competition. This person will be expected to successfully guide products all the way to production.
