Chris Pangilinan serves as Vice President for Paratransit at MTA New York City Transit. In this position, Chris oversees a $500M operation serving over 30,000 daily weekday trips across the five boroughs of New York while working to bring a more reliable, flexible, and spontaneous service to customers with disabilities. In his previous role, Chris was the Head of Global Policy for Public Transportation and Accessibility at Uber. Prior to Uber, Chris held various roles at TransitCenter, New York City Transit, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, and the United States Department of Transportation. Chris received his M.S. in Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Portland State University.
