Jaime McKay (2018-2019)

Jaime McKay is the Deputy Director of Transit Services of Frederick County, having served since June 2021. Located in the crossroads of the DC and Baltimore metropolitan areas at the base of the Appalachian Mountains, Transit Services of Frederick County is an award-winning small-urban and rural agency providing fixed route and paratransit services throughout Maryland’s largest land-mass county. Transit Services has been recognized at the federal level for the FTA Administrator’s Connecting Rural Communities Award as well as numerous times at the state level, including for the COVID-19 Above and Beyond Award in 2021.

Jaime received her Masters in Geography from the University at Albany, and was introduced to the wide world of geography as an undergraduate at Geneseo. She previously served as a Transportation Planner with WSP and MDOT MTA. She has been recognized as both an ACT (2016) and Mass Transit Magazine (2020) 40 Under 40 Recipient, and as the Frederick County Commission for Women’s Up and Coming Woman of the Year (2022). Jaime loves trains, loves to ride her bike, is an Upstate New Yorker now and always, and has a one-eyed cat named Linus, who you can meet on Twitter.
