YPT Anaheim

Welcome to the Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) – Anaheim/Orange County (OC) Chapter!

YPT is a national organization that strives to provide professional development, fellowship, and networking opportunities for young professionals within the transportation field.  Orange County may not seem like it, but the region is a hub for all things transportation related.  Everything ranging from bike paths to freeways to harbors to John Wayne Airport all contribute to the county’s vital transportation infrastructure.   YPT Anaheim/OC seeks to bring together young professionals from across the public, private, and academic transportation fields into an organization that provides professional growth and networking opportunities.  Our membership reflects a variety of industry experiences, and we are always excited to welcome new members to our growing chapter!

YPT Anaheim/OC is open to all transportation professionals in Orange County; we do not have any criteria for what defines a “young” transportation professional.  Please feel free to join us at one of our upcoming events, and stay up-to-date everything YPT-related by Liking our Facebook page and following us on Twitter @yptanaheimoc.

Individuals interested in becoming YPT – Anaheim/OC members should explore our Membership page, where you can find information about membership benefits, voting privileges, and dues.  Organizations interested in sponsoring YPT events and learning about the benefits of sponsorship can contact the chapter Board of Directors at yptanaheimoc@gmail.com.  Any other questions concerning membership, sponsorships, or transportation are welcome as well.

Below is a copy of our 2013 Vision Statement, which outlines our purpose, goals, and chapter Board of Directors.  We hope you consider becoming a part of YPT – Anaheim/OC and look forward to seeing you at future events!
