Christopher Lau is currently an Engineer with consulting firm AECOM, in Houston, Texas. He has worked on numerous PS&E and Schematic projects for multiple clients, including TxDOT, City of Houston, Harris County, City of League City, and Montgomery County.

After earning his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2016 and starting his career, Christopher has been highly involved with his local YPT Houston Chapter, becoming the Deputy Chair for that chapter during the 2018-2019 term. Since joining YPT, Christopher has been proactive in his goal to promote networking of young transportation professionals in the Houston area. Christopher is also an active member in the American Society of Civil Engineers Houston Branch and the Houston Junior Chamber International where he is able to pursue his passion of community development and outreach.
