YPT Atlanta is governed by a Board of Directors who develops the organization’s mission and activities. Board Meetings are generally scheduled the last Monday of each month. Please contact us if you would like to attend an upcoming meeting. Each position’s responsibilities are outlined in the Chapter Bylaws or Chapter Board Policy. Pringle, JeshuaJeshua Pringle
, Chair
Senior Management Analyst, Office of Transportation
City of Atlanta

Jeshua Pringle works as a Senior Management Analyst for the City of Atlanta Department of Public Works in the Office of Transportation. In this role, he utilizes his skills as a Transportation Planner and Traffic Engineer to improve the interaction between parking and land use decisions. He holds a dual Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning and Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Jeshua also holds a Master of Public Health degree and works to equip the transportation system with healthy mode choice alternatives.


David EdererDeputy Chair

David Ederer is a PhD student in Transportation Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. In addition to his studies, he works as a research assistant in the Urban Transportation Information Lab, led by Dr. Kari Watkins. David’s research is focused on how urban spaces can be used to build healthier, more livable cities. Before starting his doctoral studies, he worked at the Centers for      Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and managed the Global Road Safety program.

Nicholas Gowen is the Marketing Coordinator at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority. In his position at MARTA, Nicholas things of innovative approaches to activating Atlanta’s transit system. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Morehouse College, where he concentrated in Business Administration and Marketing

Matt Pettit, Vice Chair for Finance
Sales Engineer

Matt is a sales engineer with Citilabs in Decatur, Georgia. After studying transportation systems analysis at Northwestern University he gained valuable experience working as a transportation engineer for both a public transit agency and a transportation consulting firm. At Citilabs, Matt has played an integral role in the development of a new transportation accessibility analysis software. He also works with local government agencies to best utilize their transportation modeling software.

Georgia Department of Transportation

Craig Scott is an experienced inventory/warehouse specialist with a background in transportation and logistics. Currently, he is pursuing a graduate degree in Urban Planning with a concentration in GIS, and Transit planning. Craig believes that a city can be at its best when transit is strong and when its citizens care about the output of their community.

Georgia Commute Options Outreach Manager

Erin McGehee is the Georgia Commute Options Outreach Manager at HNTB. She works in conjunction with the account team member to promote alternative transportation mode use in the non-attainment areas and develop relationships with employers in non-attainment areas. In collaboration with the account team member, Erin identifies potential opportunities to increase GCO employer participation, develop, and present detailed specific participation plans tailored to the potential partners.

Project Manager

Patrick McAtee was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama and graduated college from Auburn University with bachelors and master’s degrees in civil engineering.  Patrick is a project manager at Neel-Schaffer in the roadway design division and a licensed civil engineer in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee.  Patrick has been active with Young Professionals in Transportation – Atlanta Chapter since its founding in 2012.
