Sam Lundquist, Chair
Civil Analyst in Roadway Design, Kimley-Horn

Sam graduated from Ohio State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering. He works on schematic and PS&E packages for roadway and bridge projects around Texas. An avid outdoors-man, Sam enjoys biking around downtown, kayaking Central Texas waterways, and hiking.



Julia Colman, Deputy Chair
Transportation Analyst and EIT, Alliance Transportation Group

Julia graduated from The University of Texas in 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering. She is a Transportation Analyst and EIT at Alliance Transportation Group. Her work focuses on performing traffic impact analyses for proposed developments and Vissim modeling to perform highway corridor studies. Julia enjoys playing softball, football, and anything related to the Longhorns.



Chris Stansbury, Vice Chair for Communications and Membership
Transportation Planner, Alliance Transportation Group

Chris graduated from Florida State University in 2015 with a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning. He works on a variety of planning projects, including demographics forecasting, travel demand modeling, corridor performance analysis, and long-range transportation plan development.



Carine Choubassi, Vice Chair for Administration and Programs
Transportation Planning Engineer and EIT, Jacobs

Carine Choubassi is a Transportation Planning Engineer and EIT at Jacobs Engineering, Inc. Her work focuses on transportation corridor planning, traffic engineering, and data management. Carine holds a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut.



Ryan Lohmann, Treasurer/Vice Chair for Finance
Civil Analyst in Roadway Design, Kimley-Horn

Ryan graduated from The University of Texas in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering. His work focuses on producing schematic and PS&E packages for roadway and bridge projects around Texas.  He enjoys kayaking, fishing, camping, and NASCAR.

In 1943, the Railroad completed a 12-mile spur to the tiny port town of Whittier.
