Mohammed “Moin” Moinuddin is a transportation enthusiast who loves exploring how people move around — in cities, across states, and even between nations. He’s fascinated by everything from buses and trains to highways, bridges, airports, and the new world of automated vehicles that can help people travel more safely and efficiently.

Moin cares about building safe, sustainable, and smart transportation systems. That means designing roads that last, imagining futuristic trains, creating traffic lights that can “talk” to automated cars, and planning public spaces where everyone can move around easily while protecting our planet.

He’s also passionate about STEM education. He wants young people to see science, technology, engineering, and math as tools that let you invent awesome things, solve real problems, and shape the future. Whether you’re curious about how a robot drives itself, how a bridge stays standing, or how traffic signals keep a whole city moving, STEM gives you the power to turn ideas into reality.

As Secretary of YPT DFW, he’s most excited about helping the chapter stay organized, connected, and moving forward with purpose. He loves being the person who keeps the chapter’s ideas, conversations, and plans clear so the whole board can focus on creating meaningful opportunities for young transportation professionals.

He’s especially looking forward to building a welcoming community, helping share knowledge, encourage STEM education and keeping our events and communication run smoothly.

Most of all, he’s excited to help YPT DFW grow into a space where curiosity, collaboration, and big ideas thrive — and where next generation of transportation leaders can discover their passion and build real skills. He wants YPT DFW to be the community that helps them grow, connect, and step confidently into the future of transportation.
